An early scan

We all went to the Homerton yesterday as Cat was worried by some bleeding. The hospital has an Early Pregnancy Care Unit (EPCU) which is full of Mums-to-be who are pale with morning sickness and no baby bumps yet. They did a scan and said Cat was fine and the bleeding should be monitored but was most likely nothing to worry about. With Aimee, Cat had a scan at 8 weeks and you could clearly see a head and torso and maybe small buds for limbs. But with the latest one, at 6 weeks, there was barely a small blob. However, already, a nice strong heartbeat had formed.
It was a small comfort but poor Cat had to endure being prodded around during the scan which made her morning sickness worse.

Words that Aimee can say – Hello, No, Uh-oh, Ng (kind of igve me that rolled into one syllable)
Current Aimee fascination: rifling through Cat’s handbag, taking things out and placing them in secret locations. She does this every day.
