It's been a while since I posted a blog here. It's not that nothing has happened, but, as Aimee gets older, there are less 'firsts' to write about and it's more a case of Aimee just keeps motoring along, doing the same things like walking,babbling, playing etc but only more adept with each passing week.
But it sure has been busy. First - Cat is pregnant again. Only 6 weeks in so it's very early days. We are both gobsmacked and unsure how we would cope with two young kids. But c'est la vie.
The next bit of amazing news is my sister, Sylvie and her husband Mat are also expecting - she too is a mere 6 weeks pregnant.
What is it with our families? Babies have to come all at the same time? For instance, when Cat was pregnant with Aimee, so was her cousin Donald and Cara. Their child, Callum is just a few weeks younger than Aimee. So, the same has happened again, but with my sister. These two could be born almost within a week of each other. And two golden piggies too. Amazing how life works isn't it.
Right now, Aimee is teething real bad. Her gums are bursting with new pearly whites, and these are the big canines and premolars. I think she'll soon have a fancy set of gnashers to show when she flashes her famous smile.
More updates on how Cat and Sylvie are doing with their respective pregnancies as the weeks progress.
